Thank You, Coquitlam!

I am truly honored and humbled to have been elected as your newest Coquitlam School Board Trustee. This victory belongs to all of us—our community, our families, and everyone who believes in strong, inclusive, and student-focused public education.

To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering support, patience, and encouragement throughout this journey. To my incredible campaign team and volunteers, I couldn’t have done this without you—every conversation, every shared post, every word of encouragement made a difference.

To the voters, thank you for placing your trust in me. I am ready to get to work, to listen, to collaborate, and to advocate for the best interests of students, parents, and educators in our district.

I also want to acknowledge my fellow candidates for putting their names forward and sharing their commitment to our schools. Running for office takes courage, and I appreciate being part of this process alongside them.

This is just the beginning. I look forward to serving you with integrity, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in education. Let’s move forward together!

With gratitude,
Rosey

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending winter concerts at Parkland and Mundy Road Elementary, and today I get to enjoy my own daughter’s concert as well. The talent these kids share is incredible! This is a true reflection of the passion and dedication of our amazing music teachers in SD43! Thank you for inspiring such joy and creativity in our students! See MoreSee Less

I’m truly honoured to serve as Vice Chair for the coming year. I remain dedicated to this role and look forward to the year ahead as I continue to grow, learn, and support our community.I’m so thrilled to share that at tonight’s board meeting, former DPAC president and now SD43 School Board Trustee Rose Sar-oya / Rosey Manhas was elected Vice Chair of the SD43 Board of Trustees! Rosey is an extraordinary leader—dedicated, compassionate, thoughtful, and endlessly hardworking. Anyone who has had the privilege of working with her knows just how deserving she is of this role, and I have no doubt she will excel and bring so much strength and vision to the board as Vice chair. As someone who has supported her behind the scenes of her campaign and will continue to do so, I couldn’t be more proud. Congratulations, Rosey! I am honoured to call you my friend.💛 See MoreSee Less

Had a wonderful time at tonight’s HollyDaze in the Heights event! It was a great opportunity to share the incredible scholarships and bursaries offered each year through the Coquitlam Foundation, all while spending some quality time with my daughter. Supporting local students and helping them reach their potential is truly what it’s all about. 📚 See MoreSee Less
